Anya Ulinich - Butterfly Creature

Anya Ulinich is deeply in spired by the 16th-century French relief pottery style of Palissy. To tell her stories, she often uses animals and debris rendered in glossy glaze. Butterfly Creature is a piece of that world, an intimate fragment of her sculptural reliefs. The wings come off to store something small but precious.
