What small beauty could be wrought with the still vital bodies of discarded metals? This question has me working with food and beverage containers used daily in homes and restaurants. Each multi-layered piece is hand-cut and formed into shapes echoing flowers and stars—relatives themselves of the earth-bound base elements from which our alloyed metals are derived. - Julia Sawyer
